Appliance in-line inspection:

Most appliances are mainly made in Foshan Guangdong, and Ningbo Zhejiang, we have been operating Pre-shipment Inspection there for years, and have very skilful inspectors over the areas.

There are lots of appliance manufacturers in Ningbo, and the nearby cities. We have been doing home appliance quality inspection for years.

For electrical appliance inspection, or household appliance preshipment inspection, the general inspection procedure will be:

  • A. Quantity check
  • B. Shipping marks & packing
  • C. Label, logos and colors
  • D. Styles & measurements
  • E. Onsite safety and function tests
  • F. Special requirements
  • G. AQL workmanship
    (Visual defects)

This inspection will help the buyers verify the final product quality level, find unexpected risks, and collect info for further continuous improvements;

Onsite Quality Inspection checkpoints for appliances:

Perform a voltage range test -II PASSED
Perform a carton drop test on the export cartons: 10 times (1 corner 3 edges 6 faces) PASSED
Run the test work for 4 hour ----S2 FAILED
Leakage current test----II PASSED
Perform the standard power test-II PASSED
Perform a Hi-pot testing -II PASSED
Perform a rub test for printing and marking ; Adhesive test for coating if applicable-For rub test: The durability of the marking is checked by trying to remove it by rubbing lightly for 15 s with a piece of cloth soaked with water and, after drying, for a further 15 s with a piece of cloth soaked with petroleum spirit; if the spirit not available, use the 95% alcohol - After the test, the marking shall be legible, marking labels shall not be easily removable and they shall show no curling. PASSED
perform quantity and assortment check in each package--S3 PASSED
Perform an internal check.-Take all related pictures to show special requirements. ----S1 (5 Pcs) FAILED
Perform an assembly check.--II PASSED
Perform UPC Barcode scan check PASSED
Check if the base of the item wobbles by placing it on a flat, glass surface--II PASSED
Perform a strength check.-Test all connections using normal force.-II FAILED
Function test : ----II PASSED
Perform a humidity test on solid wood and MDF parts with wood humidity tester (brand name: Testo), Please fill the detail finding table for wood humidity test. The sample should be taken:
- On S3;
- In at least 10 different cartons
- Provide at least 1 picture for each measurement point position (to show where the test was done = 3 pictures totally)
-Check the humidity for wood: check 3 points(a, b and c) per unit- For wooden items, the humidity tolerance for April to October: 12% Max -II		 PASSED
Perform a life test. Continue to run this test during the whole inspection period. ----S1 (5 Pcs) PASSED
Smell check-check if there are any strong offensive odor-II PASSED
