Most appliances are mainly made in Foshan Guangdong, and Ningbo Zhejiang, we have been operating Pre-shipment Inspection there for years, and have very skillful inspectors over the areas.

For electrical appliance inspection, or household appliance preshipment inspection, the general inspection procedure will be:

  • verify the finished, unfinished, packed, unpacked quantities of each styles;
  • general carton packing methods
  • opening up the carton, gift box, inner packing;
  • barcode, SKU numbers, logos etc.
  • Weight, measurements of the carton, gift box, and the actual products;
  • Some tests that can be done onsite to see if any problems
  • Visual defects of the random samples;

Onsite Quality Inspection checkpoints for appliances:

E3.For adhesive test: perform test on coating (painting/plating/ screen printing, etc) with 3M tape.-S2 Passed
E4.Perform a rub test for printing and marking ; Adhesive test for coating if applicable-For rub test: The durability of the marking is checked by trying to remove it by rubbing lightly for 15 s with a piece of cloth soaked with water and, after drying, for a further 15 s with a piece of cloth soaked with petroleum spirit; if the spirit not availabel, use the 95% alcohol Passed
E5.Check if the base of the item wobbles by placing it on a flat, glass surface--II Passed
E6.perform quantity and assortment check in each package--S3 N/A
E7.Perform a strength check.-Test all connections using normal force.-II N/A
E8.Perform a humidity test on solid wood and MDF parts with wood humidity tester(brand name: testo), Please fill the detail finding table for wood humidity test. The sample should be taken: - On S3; N/A
E9.Perform a fatigue test on all adjustable parts.--S2 Passed
E10.Check all the accessories with the item.--S2 Passed
E11.Perform an assembly check.--II Passed
E12.Perform a Hi-pot testing -II Passed
E13.Perform a voltage range test -II N/A
E14.Perform the standard power test-II Passed
E15.Function test : --II Passed
E16.Run the test work for 4 hour ----S2 Passed
E17.Leakage current test--II Passed
E18.Perform an internal check.-Take all related pictures to show special requirements.-S1 (5 Pcs) Failed
E19.Perform a life test.-Continue to run this test during the whole inspection period.-S1 (5 Pcs) Failed

This inspection will help the buyers verify the final product quality level, find unexpected risks, and collect info for further continuous improvements;
