Freezer pre-shipment inspection:

How to inspect freezers? we normally check according to below checklist for freezers, mini freezer, coolers, heaters etcs.

  • Labels, markings, logos & barcodes check
  • On-site safety, regulation & function testing
  • Aesthetic, visual defects, workmanship, surface and function check
  • Quantity & assortment verifying
  • Measurements & sizes check
  • Product specs, and special requirements check
  • Packaging, safety and drop tests

Below is a sample checklist for mini freezer inspections:

Perform a rub test and an adhesive test-Perform the rub test and adhesive test on any and all printing found on the item-S2  Checked on 5pcs per style.  PASSED 
3.1.- Check Packaging according files results of the tests  Conformed to artwork of gift box.  PASSED 
3.2.- Rating Labels according to attached file   Conformed to updated specification provided by client.  PASSED 
3.3.-Portuguese Instruction Manual according to attached file  Same manual was used for 2 styles, and it was same as attached file.  PASSED 
3.4.- Check if products are working (56 units for 127 V and 24 units for 220 V )   Heating for 10min, then cooling for 10min, found the inner temperature were changed accordingly.  PASSED 
3.5.- Check if all button options are working   Press each button, conformed to intended function.  PASSED 
3.6.- Check if all components and accessories are inserted  By visual check, found conformed.  PASSED 
3.7.- Check if the products  have not  rust, risks, dusty etc.  By visual check, found conformed.  PASSED 
3.8.- Operate 2 units  (version 127 V) for  six  hours ( cold temperature) verify the internal temperature take note  of temperature each hour  and temperature ambient also one  with Dc 12 V other with 127V 60 Hz  Turn on the fridge, temperature was set to 2℃, then verify the internal temperature each hour.  PASSED 
3.9.- Operate 2 units  (version 127 V) for  six  hours ( Hot  temperature) verify the internal temperature take note of temperature each hour  and temperature ambient also   one  with Dc 12 V other with 127V 60 Hz  each hour. Turn on the fridge, temperature was set to 60℃, then verify the internal temperature  PASSED 
3.10.- Operate 2 units  (version 220 V) for  six  hours ( cold temperature) verify the internal temperaturetake note of temperature each hour  and temperature ambient also one  with Dc 12 V other with 220V 60 Hz  Turn on the fridge, temperature was set to 2℃, then verify the internal temperature each hour.   
3.11.- Operate 2 units  (version 220 V) for  six  hours ( Hot  temperature) verify the internal temperaturetake note of temperature each hour  and temperature ambient also one  with Dc 12 V other with 220V 60 Hz  PASSED 
3.12– The  goods of the tests  3.12/3.13 and 3.14  should be differents samples , Dont use the same sample to do two or three tests , please send date list of the results of the tests  On all samples, found result of the tests were passed.  PASSED 
3.13.- Power cord with INMETRO certification (attached)   Refer to part 2.  PASSED 
3.14.- Inform the diameter of the plugs i n 127V and 220V and check if the p ins of the plug sho uld not be ferrous (se e wi th a magnet) the magnet not attract the pins.   127V: 3.97mm; 220V: 3.95mm.  PASSED 
3.15.- C heck gross weigh t and n et w eight information w ith th e pack aging an d t ax document of t he all lot    (t he v alues printed should be real to avoid problems with government import  de partments)    Actual finding 
3.16.- Measuring the product and accessories (L x W x H)cm  Overall size of fridge, length of AC cable and DC cable were checked, pls. refer to part 2 for details.  Actual finding
